HEART TO HORSES
Bring your heart to a horse and be transformed.
As an EGCMethod coach, I am committed to working with women who are struggling after any loss in life. Women
who desire to live a whole-hearted life, a life of PURPOSE and CREATIVITY so that you can free up space that
has been blocked with issues from the past. This allows a restoration to happen, confidence is restored FREEING you up to make decisions from NOW rather than from the lens of grief and past trauma.
Sometimes, after a loss, whether it be a miscarriage, stillborn or a loved one who has passed, one can tend to isolate in their grief and deep mourning which can lead to feeling out of sorts, wondering where the 'old' self went. Feeling like others don't understand can be overwhelming, even numbing, which can further create a sense isolation.
If you connect to this at all, my horses and I can help you get back those parts of self you may not have even known were missing mainly because it’s so easy to grow accustomed to our current emotional states. I work holistically and somatically and firmly believe the body does not lie.
When we pay attention to our body, and learn to understand our reactions and responses, we often feel gratitude and turn toward the practice of self-compassion.
We are here to help you unravel the past so that you can
step into your future with a sense of wholeness and joy.

A bit about why I do what I do:
Eight years ago, I gave birth to my stillborn daughter Lylah at 42 weeks pregnant. I learned quickly that there
wasn’t a way out of the pain and grief I experienced on an almost daily basis after that loss. Tears were many,
and at times isolation, fear and even terror set in about proceeding ahead in my life without my baby girl.
Not long after her passing, my husband and I took and trip through Canada and Montana. It was on this trip that
I reconnected with horses. We were staying on a ranch and I found myself drawn to these magical beings every
day. It truly was the only place I felt any peace at that time. Even though I spent my entire childhood with horses, I never quite knew of their healing presence until the time on that ranch.
When I returned home, I devoted my days to being around horses as much as possible, and within the year,
adopted my first rescue mare, Sedona. She was a year and a half at the time.
Three years later, I had my son Grayson, and then a few years after that my son Alden. They are magical beings.
The horses led me to studying natural horsemanship and to Melisa Pearce and her program Touched by a Horse. I
became trained in the Equine Gestalt Coaching MethodⓇ, and am a certified EGCMethodⓇ coach.
Maybe you are a mom who is raising young children and wants to go back to work - there may be different parts
of your self wanting different things, telling you various choices. My horses and I can help you explore that
You may be a mom who has experienced a miscarriage or other loss during or after birth - It can be very painful
and scary to try to get pregnant again. And if you are pregnant, everyone may expect you to be excited but there could be aspects of fear and doubt lingering within.
My horses and I are here to contribute to your healing so life feels meaningful and fulfilling.
